Employer

As an employer, you are obligated to initiate a Second Track (Track 2) reintegration trajectory when an employee is unable to perform their current role due to limitations and there are no internal opportunities for another job. The purpose of this trajectory is to guide the employee towards new and suitable employment outside the organization, in accordance with the Work and Income Capacity Act (Wet Verbetering Poortwachter, WVP).

At Thaeles, Track 2 reintegration guidance is synonymous with an intensive trajectory, usually starting at the beginning of the second year of sickness absence. At the onset of the trajectory, ample attention is given to the employee's acceptance process and gaining insight into their own interests, talents, and motivations. The second phase of the trajectory focuses on active mediation for internships or secondments, acquiring or refining job application skills, and guidance in searching for and finding suitable job vacancies.

The execution of Track 2 reintegration is a shared responsibility. As an employer, you will receive periodic reports on the progress, ensuring that your WVP dossier is properly compiled and any WIA application is processed correctly.
